In the 1963-64, ten families in the Forest Heights Subdivision applied for a loan to develop the Forest heights pool. The loan was repaid by the sale of shares of stock. Stockholders were members and paid annual dues. The Forest Heights Pool Corp. had a 25 year land lease. When the lease expired the pool and land reverted to former owner and was sold to Hampton Park Developers. The developers renovated and provided as an amenity for the Hampton Park subdivision. Outside members were still able to join, and they added the parking area and left access from the FH side. Their was a change in developers in the late 1990′s, and they closed the pool around the new millennium. Without regular maintenance, the pool began to deteriorate.
